Accept the attachments and report out regarding potential grant opportunities, currently funded water projects through California Department of Water Resources (DWR), workshop presentation from California Department of Water Resources and California Water Boards outlining new legislation SB 552, Memo from Supervisor Mulheren, and Memo from Supervisor Gjerde; and provide direction to staff as determined.

PREVIOUS BOARD/BOARD COMMITTEE ACTIONS:
On June 21, 2022, the General Consensus of the Board was to direct County Counsel to proceed with drafting an ordinance for a 1/4 cent general sales tax for submission to the voters for fire, with 90% allocated to the fire districts allocation table and 10% allocated to Mendocino County Fire Safe Council; and direct Supervisors Gjerde and Mulheren to work together and return with a plan on July 12, 2022, for funding water within the County's existing budget.
