Approve Agreement (first Amendment to Agreement No. SS-21-103) with North Coast Opportunities, Inc., in the amount of $200,000 for a new total of $224,525, for administrative and fiscal services related to the Housing Needs Flex Fund, effective April 1, 2022 through December 31, 2023; authorize the Social Services Director or designee to sign any future amendments that do not increase the annual maximum amount; and authorize the Chair to sign same.

SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
CA-AB-101 Housing Development and Financing of 2019-2020 authorized a one-time block grant that provided funds to local jurisdictions to support regional coordination and expand or develop local capacity to address immediate homelessness challenges. From this block grant, Mendocino County was allocated $862,691.53 of Homeless Housing Assistance and Prevention (HHAP) program funds by the Business, Consumer Services, and Housing Agency (BCSH) for services to persons experiencing homelessness. Using these funds, Mendocino County created the Housing Needs Flex Fund to address critical housing-related needs of individuals and families in Mendocino County.
