PREVIOUS BOARD/BOARD COMMITTEE ACTIONS:
On June 8, 2021 the Board received a presentation regarding the 2020-21 Program Graduates.

SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
The California State Association of Counties (CSAC) Institute for Excellence in County Government is a professional, practical continuing education program for senior county staff and elected officials. Its goal is to expand capacity and capability of county elected officials and senior staff to provide extraordinary services to their communities. Mendocino County along with Lake County staff and elected officials were provided with an opportunity to attend courses onsite in person in Mendocino County, provided by certified CSAC trainers.

Courses completed by Graduates: Art & Practice of Organizational Leadership, Inclusive leadership; Developing the Bench, Leading with Emotional Intelligence, Intergenerational Leadership, Finding the Blind Spots: Personal Organization, Customer Service in the Public Sector, Manage Conflict in Comfort, County Financial Reporting and Budgeting for Nonfinancial Professionals, Strengths-Based Leadership and Talent Development and Succession Planning

We are pleased to announce a total of 15 participants earned 30 credits by completing all 10 courses within the California State Association of Counties Credential Program. We are proud to acknowledge our Graduates (attachment A - list of Graduates).
