Summary of Request:
Mendocino County along with 13 other counties is a defendant in a class action lawsuit, Doe, et al. v. Humboldt County, et al., Humboldt Superior Court, Case No. CV-22-01700. The counties are jointly engaging the law firm of Shook, Hardy & Bacon, L.L.P., for cost-effective legal defense of this litigation. This firm has a strong background in complex litigation including in the subject matter of the litigation.
