Approve retroactive Agreement with Data Strategy Consulting, LLC., Sara Marikos in the amount of $100,000, to provide epidemiology services, effective February 1, 2023 through December 31, 2023; authorize the Public Health Director or designee to sign amendments that do not increase the maximum amount; and authorize Chair to sign same.

SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
Data Strategy Consulting LLC., Sarah Marikos (DSC) will work in coordination with the Public Health Officer, the Deputy Public Health Officer(s), the COVID-19 Local Emergency Incident Commander, the Emergency/Department Operations Center Manager, Public Health Director or their designee to provide epidemiological briefing on state, region, and county-wide trends and projections to inform operations and planning. To facilitate the delivery of services, COVID-19 data will be analyzed through California Reportable Disease Information Exchange (CalREDIE) and Snowflake (vaccine data), as well as other appropriate platforms, as needed. In addition, DSC will provide epidemiology analysis and briefing regarding Public Health's efforts toward equity, as required by the California Equitable Recovery Initiative (CERI) contract with the California Department of Public Health, and as needed.
