Approve agreement (retroactive first amendment to Agreement No. SS-20-078) with Mendocino Coast Hospitality Center in the amount of $0, for a new total of $50,000, to continue providing Rapid Rehousing Services to individuals and families who are experiencing homelessness in Mendocino County, effective April 8, 2021, through a new end date of September 30, 2023 (original end date: June 30, 2022); authorize the Social Services Director or designee to sign any future amendments that do not increase the maximum amount; and authorize Chair to sign same.

The Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act passed by Congress on March 27, 2020, included funds for homeless services through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development's (HUD) Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG-CV) to support Continua of Care (CoC) in addressing coronavirus among the homeless.
