The Board of Supervisors regularly adopts Proclamations to raise recognizing special events and issues in Mendocino County.
SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
In recognition of the Mendocino Climate Action Advisory Committee and all of the organizations in Mendocino County that work to protect the environment Supervisor Mulheren requests that the Board of Supervisors adopt the Proclamation recognizing April 22, 2024 as Earth Day in Mendocino County.
Throughout the County there may be many activities planned to recognize and celebrate beautification of the planet. Ideas include: supporting pollinators by planting native plants, cleaning up litter, planting a tree, preparing to continue to save water in your garden, actively recycling good waste in your home or joining a community cleanup day.
