Please, oh Please do not make it more expensive and difficult to build with Class K permits. Consider: Some of us are trying alternative houses like Cob, straw, aircrete and wish to use recycled materials. We want kinder more eco friendly buildings. Maybe we take a risk if not having everything perfect but we can have a warm dry place to live in this otherwise prohibitively expensive area with low incomes, fisheries going down and climate change pushing us all to do the best we can to slow this train wreck down. Please consider this very carefully. No on sprinkler systems, yes on rubble foundations.  (They can work great and keep rubble out of landfills, sure inspections but please understand we just want shelter and can do with less and live more lightly on the Earth..
