RECOMMENDED ACTION/MOTION:

Approve amendment to Agreement No. 16-058 with Crestwood Behavioral Health, Inc. in the amount of $225,000, for a total Agreement amount of $292,160 to provide residential treatment services for adults with mental health challenges for FY 2016-17; authorize the Health and Human Services Agency Director to sign any future amendments to the Agreement that do not increase the annual maximum amount; and authorize Chair to sign same.

SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
Crestwood Behavioral Health, Inc. provides secure residential treatment programs and offers a broad range of services to adults requiring a structured environment due to mental health challenges. Levels of care include groups, trainings, and programs to promote the recovery of clients for independent living in the community. The County's goal is to transfer clients to a less restrictive residential setting as soon as they are medically able. Basic daily rates vary depending on the level of care required for the clients. This range has the potential to be $21-$400 for this agreement, with BHRS paying a range of $21-$168 for clients currently using the services.
