Receive the report and update regarding Emergency Medical Services (EMS) related referrals to the Public Health, Safety, and Resources Committee, including: boundary discrepancies between ambulance service areas and fire district/Local Area Formation Commission boundaries, Mendocino County's EMS Ordinance and the elimination of fire as a designated recipient of fees, and the impact of policies and procedures on first responder agencies.

PREVIOUS BOARD/BOARD COMMITTEE ACTIONS:
On December 19, 2016, the Board of Supervisors received a presentation about EMS activities and an updated timeline related to Ordinance development and development of an EMS Exclusive Operating Area in Mendocino County. On February 7, 2017 the Board of Supervisors referred this matter to the Public Health, Safety, and Resources Committee. On February 14, 2017, the Board of Supervisors adopted an updated EMS Ordinance for Mendocino County.
