Approve third amendment to Agreement No. 11-059 with CFMG in the amount of $1,063,929.24 for Fiscal Year 2017-18, and extension of term date to December 31, 2017; authorize the Sheriff or his designee to sign any amendments that do not increase the amount of the Agreement; and authorize Chair to sign same.

SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
On February 9, 2017 the Mendocino County Sheriff Office released a Request for Proposal (RFP) #SO-2017-002 titled "Medical Health Services for the Mendocino County Jail". The RFP closed on April 7, 2017. Three proposals were received. The RFP process is still on going and not yet finalized. The term date on the current agreement with CFMG will expire prior to the RFP process coming to a conclusion. It is necessary to amend the current CFMG agreement for a six-month period to allow for medical health services in the County Jail to continue uninterrupted for inmates while the RFP process concludes.

Return to staff for alternate handling.
