Adopt Resolution approving Department of Transportation Agreement number 170014, Professional Services Agreement with Stantec Consulting Services, Inc., in the amount of $133,359 for vegetation monitoring and maintenance for the Moore Street Bridge over the Russian River Bridge, on Moore Street, County Road 229B, milepost 0.45 (Calpella Valley Area); and authorize Chair to sign same.

PREVIOUS BOARD/BOARD COMMITTEE ACTIONS:
By Resolution No. 16-042, (April 5, 2016) the Board of Supervisors authorized the DOT to advertise for bids and award DOT Contract No. 130077 for construction of the seismic retrofit of the Moore Street Bridge Replacement over the Russian River, on Moore Street, CR 229b, MP 0.45, and increase the Director of Transportation's change order authority to 10% of the contract. By Resolution No. 17-008, (January 24, 2017) the Board accepted the Notice of Completion and release of construction contract for the Moore Street Bridge Seismic Retrofit.
SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
DOT Agreement No. 170014 provides for vegetation replacement, erosion control measures, monitoring, and maintenance, for five years. Stantec and their sub-consultant, Sequoia Ecological Consulting, Inc., responded to the request for proposals and were rated most qualified to do the work.
