Approve Agreement with Mendocino Coast Hospitality Center in the amount of $148,285 on behalf of the Mendocino County Homeless Services Continuum of Care to pilot the Critical Time Intervention program, funded through the California Emergency Solutions and Housing Program grant, effective October 1, 2019 through September 30, 2021; authorize the Health and Human Services Agency Director or designee to sign any future amendments to the Agreement that do not increase the annual maximum amount; and authorize Chair to sign same.

SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
The Continuum of Care (CoC) Program, as defined by the Federal Department of Housing and Urban Development, is designed to: promote community-wide commitment to the goal of ending homelessness; provide funding to quickly rehouse individuals and families experiencing homelessness while minimizing trauma; promote access to and effect utilization of mainstream programs; and optimize self-sufficiency among individuals and families experiencing homelessness.
