RECOMMENDED ACTION/MOTION:

Authorize contract award to Cupples and Sons Construction, Inc. in the amount of $1,640,000 for the Administration Center Roof and HVAC Replacement Project Phase 2 at 860 North Bush Street, Ukiah, CA and authorize Chair to sign same, further authorize the Facilities and Fleet Division Manager to act as Project Manager to enter contracts and approve change orders for the project, pursuant to Public Contract Code section 20142.

PREVIOUS BOARD/BOARD COMMITTEE ACTIONS:
On March 27, 2018, Rejection of all bids for BID 81-18 for the Administration Center Roof and HVAC Replacement Project - South Wing. On December 18, 2018 Board Direction to move forward with prioritizing Main Jail, Emergency Operations Center and Administration Center Roof replacement projects in that order and to withdraw $1 million from Reserves for these priority roof projects. Approval of the 2019-2020 Budget, including allocation of $2,187,751 of funding for Administration Center Roof Replacement.
