SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
The Healthy Living Community project (initially called Friends for Health/Weekend Wellness) arose from stakeholder feedback suggesting that relationships beyond provider-client were difficult to make for people with mental health needs who have a history of homelessness or who are at risk of homelessness. In an attempt to address this issue, the Healthy Living Community project will explore how to build peer-to-peer connections by bringing wellness center style services to a supportive residential setting.
