SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
The City of Fort Bragg and the County of Mendocino maintain a network of storm drain systems and will both be undertaking projects to install trash capture devices pursuant to requirements by the State Water Resources Control Board. Both the City and County worked together on the North Coast Stormwater Resources Plan to get the trash capture projects included in the final approved plan allowing each jurisdiction to purse Proposition 1 funding for implementation. The County and City will each be submitting a Stormwater Grant Program application for the install project to the State Water Resources Control Board in July.
