Approve agreement with North Coast Opportunities for COVID-19 Emergency Food Distribution Services in the amount of $250,000 for a term starting upon execution by all parties through December 31, 2020; authorize the Chief Executive Officer to sign any amendments that do not increase the maximum contract amount; and authorize Chair to sign same.

SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
The mission of the North Coast Opportunities (NCO)'s MendoLake Food Hub is to support the economic viability of small farms and food access in the community. It provides farmers access to a shared sales and distribution network which serves both wholesale buyers like grocery stores, schools and restaurants, and individual customers served by the Food Hub's Home Delivery Program.
In response to the COVID-19 Pandemic, the Food Hub has partnered with a broad range of organizations to support food access for underserved and at-risk members of our community. The Food Hub aggregates, packs, and distributes Covid-19 Relief Boxes from food hub farmers, which include but not limited to locally grown fresh fruits and vegetables, with options for grains, legumes, eggs, bread, and olive oil.
