Ordinance No. 4345, Resolution No. 15-156 (Policies and Procedures for Agricultural Preserves and Williamson Act Contracts) approved on October 6, 2015, Amended on March 27, 2018 by Resolution No. 18-050.
SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
Capistran Ranch, LLC requests the establishment of an Agricultural Preserve and Williamson Act contracts over three groups of parcels in the Round Valley/Covelo area, totaling 982? acres of agricultural and rangeland. The land is used as grazing for the Capistran Ranch cattle holdings. The request was approved unanimously by the Planning Commission on December 3, 2020. See attached Memorandum to the Board, draft Resolution, Planning Commission Staff Report, and Planning Commission Resolution.
