RECOMMENDED ACTION/MOTION:

Adopt resolution ratifying the grant application for Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act funds to assist with operational expenses for Little River Airport and authorizing the Director of Transportation to accept the grant, if awarded, and execute the grant agreement and sign any other necessary related documents on behalf of Mendocino County (Little River Area); and authorize Chair to sign same.

SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
The Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations (CRRSA) Act authorized aid to general aviation airports to assist with operational expenses during the COVID-19 public health emergency. Little River Airport is eligible to receive $9,000 in assistance. The funds can be used to cover eligible operational expenses during a four-year period beginning January 20, 2020. Department of Transportation (DOT) has already submitted the application to the Federal Aviation Administration as they requested airport sponsors submit applications for assistance immediately to help expedite the distribution of funds. DOT is requesting the Board ratify the grant application for assistance with operational expenses under the CRRSA Act and authorize the Director of Transportation to accept the grant and execu...
