PREVIOUS BOARD/BOARD COMMITTEE ACTIONS:
The Board approved the grant application for this project to the Economic Development Administration (EDA) at the June 19, 2018 meeting. The Board approved the original agreement at the August 6, 2019 meeting and approved the first amendment at the May 5, 2020 meeting.

SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
The Economic Development and Financing Corporation (EDFC) has been working with West Business Development Center to carry out the planning activities to create a strategic framework for the activities and efforts of local governments, agencies, and organizations to create a resilient economy in Mendocino County.

This project is funded by the Economic Development Administration (EDA) through its Disaster Supplemental funding. EDA's period of performance for this project is April 1, 2019 to March 31, 2021. However, due to the delays of COVID-19, EDA has approved an extension for this project until December 31, 2021. This agreement is retroactive because the County could not execute the amendmen...
