PREVIOUS BOARD/BOARD COMMITTEE ACTIONS:
The Board approved the original Agreement BOS-19-018 at the March 16, 2019 meeting.

SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
This CAL FIRE grant -funded hazardous tree removal project removes hazardous trees on private properties within the Redwood Complex Fire footprint. Mendocino County Resource Conservation District (MCRCD) is the contracted project manager implementing the project. This project has treated 36 properties resulting in the felling of 355 hazardous trees and removal of 186 trees from participating properties.

This project requires program participants to have a cost share of $200 per tree for a maximum of $600. There is no cost share if the property owners choose to keep or dispose of the felled trees themselves. Cost shares have been sent to the County to deposit into a trust fund. This amendment is simply to transfer all $10,200 of the cost share collected to MCRCD.
