Approve retroactive Agreement with Redwood Community Services, Inc. in the amount of $240,144, to provide Emergency Support Services for children detained by Family and Children's Services, effective July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2022; authorize the Health and Human Services Agency Assistant Director/ Social Services Director to sign any future amendments to the Agreement that do not increase the annual maximum amount; and authorize Chair to sign same.

SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
In Mendocino County, the placement and care of children who have been removed from the custody of
their parents or guardians under Welfare and Institutions Code Section 300 is the responsibility of the
Mendocino County Health and Human Services Agency (HHSA), Family and Children's Services (FCS).
As part of meeting this requirement, FCS contracts with Redwood Community Services, Inc. (RCS) for the
provision of emergency foster home placement services to high needs youth in Mendocino County.
