Previous Board/Board Committee Actions:
By Resolution Number (No.) 16-051 (April 19, 2016), the Board of Supervisors (BOS) approved BOS Agreement No. 16-017/Department of Transportation (DOT) Agreement No. 160025 with Quincy Engineering Inc. (QEI), for plans, specifications, and estimate bid package for a total amount of $626,000. By Resolution No. 19-228 (August 20, 2019), BOS approved Amendment No. 2 to BOS Agreement No. 16-017/DOT Agreement No. 160025 with QEI for an additional amount of $123,100.
Summary of Request:
Pursuant to California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) requirements, an Initial Study has been completed for the Lambert Lane Bridge over Robinson Creek Replacement Project. The study supports the adoption of a Mitigated Negative Declaration (MND). The attached MND includes the State Clearinghouse review period letter of compliance. The State Clearinghouse received no comments during the 30-day review period. A public hearing has been scheduled for October 19, 2021, at 9:00 a.m., or as soon thereafter as the item may be heard, to present the findings of the Initial Study and to hear and consider any comments or concerns of the public, prior to adoption of the applicable Mitigated Negative Declaration. The engineer’s estimated total cost of the project is $7,048,000. Project funding is primarily through the Federal Highway Bridge Program (HBP) (88.53%) with the local match being provided through the Toll Credits Program (TCP) (11.47%).

Postpone the public hearing and delay the project.
