SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
The Board of Supervisors (BOS), as the Chief Local Elected Official for the Mendocino County Local Workforce Development Area (LWDA), is the grant recipient of the Federal Department of Labor's Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act funds (formerly Workforce Investment Act). Mendocino County is scheduled to receive the next round of formula funds for program years 2016/2018. The first allocation within Master Subgrant No. K7102041 is for Youth Formula funds in the amount of $ 221,300, which is retroactive to April 1, 2016.
