PREVIOUS BOARD/BOARD COMMITTEE ACTIONS:
March 15, April 18 and May 16, 2016, the Marijuana Ad Hoc brought forward recommendations regarding the development of a permanent medical marijuana cultivation ordinance; May 17, 2016, Board adopted a medical marijuana cultivation urgency ordinance and directed staff to bring back an item to disband the Marijuana Ad Hoc and refer the development of a permanent ordinance to the General Government Standing Committee; June 7, 2016, Board disbanded the Marijuana Ad Hoc and referred the development of a permanent marijuana cultivation ordinance to the General Government Standing Committee; June 20, 2016, July 8, 2016 and July 13, 2016 the General Government Standing Committee provided direction to staff regarding changes to the draft medical cannabis cultivation ordinance and zoning regulation and recommendation for full Board review prior to commencing the CEQA project description and initial study process.
