Adopt Resolution authorizing Health and Human Services Agency to apply for the No Place Like Home Technical Assistance grant funds from the California Department of Housing and Community Development in the amount of $75,000 for FY 2017-18; authorize the Health and Human Services Agency Director or designee to sign Agreement, if awarded, and any future amendments that do not increase the annual maximum amount; and authorize Chair to sign same.

SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
On June 20, 2017, after receiving two presentations about the state of homelessness in Mendocino County, the Mendocino County Board of Supervisors directed HHSA Chief Operations Officer, Anne Molgaard, Adult and Aging Services Acting Deputy Director, Kelsey Rivera, and the Housing Options Mendocino (HOME) Team staff to pursue opportunities to research, develop and propose possible solutions for concerns related to homelessness in Mendocino County.
