SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
On February 9, 2017 the Mendocino County Sheriff's Office (MCSO) released RFP# SO-2017-002 titled "Medical Health Services for Mendocino County Jail". A Pre-Bidders Meeting was held on March 20, 2017 and three potential bidders attended. The RFP closed on April 7, 2017 and three proposals were received. The RFP evaluation review committee, which consisted of seven individuals (3 from MCSO, 1 from Mendocino County Executive Office (CEO), 1 Board of Supervisors representative, 1 Community Partner, 1 Health and Human Services Agency/Behavioral Health representative) met and determined the two top proposals. Those two top proposers, NaphCare and California Forensic Medical Group (CFMG), were invited to conduct an oral presentation/demonstration that occurred on April 26, 2017 with the RFP evaluation review committee.
