Authorize the termination of the Service Agreement with Solano County Workforce Development Board for the performance of North Bay Sector Alliance Services; authorize transfer of the remaining funds of $140,400 to the Workforce Alliance of the North Bay; and authorize Chair to sign same.

PREVIOUS BOARD/BOARD COMMITTEE ACTIONS:
On June 27, 2016 the Board of Supervisors approved BOS Agreement No. 16-065 with Solano County, establishing the financial framework for a Workforce Development Board (WDB) Partnership with the North Bay Business Sector Alliance (NBBSA). The establishment of this partnership provided the grounds for awarding the Slingshot Grant.
SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
Effective August 2, 2016 Mendocino County entered into a Contract with Solano County Workforce Development Board for the performance of North Bay Business Sector Alliance Services. As the WDB, the County was awarded a $156,000.00 Slingshot Grant. On November 1, 2016 the Mendocino County Board of Supervisors requested inclusion into the Joint Powers Agreement of the Workforce Alliance of the North Bay (WANB) with the Counties of Napa, Marin and Lake.
