RECOMMENDED ACTION/MOTION:

1) Discuss and waive the Board's Rules of Procedure, Specifically Rule No. 27, Motion to Reconsider; upon successful waiver of the rule, 2) Reconsider Board of Supervisors approval on October 3, 2017, of a letter to Army Corps of Engineers (ACEO) requesting assistance in addressing staffing, maintenance and management issues at Lake Mendocino; and upon successful reconsideration, 3) Approve letter to the Army Corps of Engineers requesting specific assistance regarding issues at Lake Mendocino; and authorize Chair to sign same.

On the October 17, 2017, Board of Supervisors meeting Supervisor Brown stated her intent to invoke Rule 27 of the Board of Supervisors Rules of Procedures and agendize a Motion to Reconsider on the October 24, 2017, Board meeting agenda regarding the Board's approval of letter to the Army Corps of Engineers (ACEO) on October 3, 2017, requesting assistance in addressing staffing, maintenance and management issues at Lake Mendocino.
