RECOMMENDED ACTION/MOTION:

Approve amendment to Agreement number 17-043 with Liebert Cassidy Whitmore for employer-employee relations services with the County's eight bargaining units, to decrease the Agreement by the amount of $75,000, (for a new total revised Agreement of $175,000) for the period of July 1, 2017, through June 30, 2018; and authorize Chair to sign same.

PREVIOUS BOARD/BOARD COMMITTEE ACTIONS:
On July 7, 2015 the Board approved agreement number 15-068 with Liebert Cassidy Whitmore. On May 17, 2016, the Board approved an amendment to agreement number 15-068 with Liebert Cassidy Whitmore. On June 21, 2016, the Board approved agreement number 16-037 with Liebert Cassidy Whitmore. On June 20, 2017, the Board approved agreement number 17-043 with Liebert Cassidy Whitmore.

SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
Investigation services require a specific agreement and must be independent from other contracted services with Liebert Cassidy Whitmore (LCW). A new and separate agreement to provide those services is submitted concurrently with this request therefore allowing a decrease to the total amount of Board of Supervisors Agreement Number 17-043 with LCW for employer-employee relations services.
