Adopt Resolution approving Department of Transportation (DOT) Agreement Number (No.) 170067, Professional Services Agreement with GHD Inc., for the term starting upon execution of the Agreement through March 31, 2020, in the amount of $100,000 for the North State Street -Highway 101 Intersection/Interchange Alternatives Analysis and authorizing the Director of Transportation to sign any and all amendments to the Agreement not exceeding $10,000 (Ukiah Area); and authorize Chair to sign same.

SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
DOT agreement No. 170067 provides to study the corridor of North State Street, county road 104, from Ford Road/Empire Drive to Orr Springs Road and develop a final alternatives analysis that includes recommendations to improve safety for all corridor users, to improve the aesthetics of North State Street by revamping the urban streetscape, to improve pedestrian and bicycle access along the corridor, to address the need for sufficient parking opportunities and to evaluate roundabout(s) versus signalized intersections along the corridor.
