PREVIOUS BOARD/BOARD COMMITTEE ACTIONS:
None directly related to this matter. The County of Mendocino's Redevelopment Agency was dissolved in 2012, and its affairs were concluded under an Oversight Board which was disbanded by the Board of Supervisors in June, 2014 via Resolution No. 14-089.

SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
On February 1, 2012 all redevelopment agencies throughout the state were dissolved and successor entities were established to oversee the wind down of the affairs of the former redevelopment agencies. At that time, local oversight boards were established to oversee the operations of each successor entity. Although Mendocino County's oversight board was disbanded, there remain more than one oversight board within the county (Fort Bragg, Ukiah, Willits). For that reason, each local oversight board in Mendocino County shall be dissolved on and after July 1, 2018 and replaced by a single Countywide Oversight Board.
