Approve Agreement with Redwood Quality Management Company in the Amount of $7,401,500 to Arrange and/or Manage Specialty Mental Health Services and Mental Health Services Act (MHAS) to Adults Age 25 years and Older for the Period of July 1, 2018 through June 30, 2019; authorize the Health and Human Services Agency Director or designee to sign any future amendments that do not increase the annual maximum amount; and authorize Chair to sign same.

SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
Redwood Quality Management Company (RQMC) has been arranging and/or managing mental health services on behalf of Mendocino County to adults age 25 years and older since July 1, 2016, when the contract with Ortner Management Group ended. RQMC, functioning as an Administrative Services Organization (ASO), oversees and manages the delivery of mental health services as delineated in the Mental Health Plan (MHP) approved by the State Department of Health Care Services. The proposed 2018-19 contract with RQMC continues the ASO model and allows RQMC to arrange and pay for specialty mental health services aimed at assisting adults with issues related to mental illness.
