PREVIOUS BOARD/BOARD COMMITTEE ACTIONS:
On January 24, 2017, the Board of Supervisors approved BOS Agreement No. 17-003.

SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
BOS Agreement No. 17-003 was approved as a two year agreement with the potential to extend, as needed. Since PBS has utilized the services of MSWMA for successful and cost effective cleanup of public nuisances on a case by case basis, staff requests the extension of the MOU. Although this amendment is technically retroactive, MSWMA provided no services to the County under the terms of the original agreement after it expired on June 30, 2018. Pursuant to the priorities of the Board of Supervisors, the PBS Code Enforcement Division continues to seek methods for streamlining public nuisance abatement in a timely and efficient manner as allowed by statute.
