Approve retroactive Agreement with North Coast Opportunities Inc. in the amount of $143,734 to provide outreach and education to children and seniors through the Walk Bike Mendocino Program under the Office of Traffic Safety grant to improve pedestrian and bicycle safety from October 1, 2018 through September 30, 2019; authorize the Health and Human Services Agency Director or designee to sign any future amendments to the Agreement that do not increase the annual maximum amount; and authorize Chair to sign same.

SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
On November 6, 2018 the Mendocino County Board of Supervisors approved a grant Agreement with the Office of Traffic Safety (OTS). The Office of Traffic Safety's mission is to effectively and efficiently administer traffic safety grants while fostering partnerships to deliver innovative programs that reduce traffic deaths, injuries and economic losses. Using grant funds, Mendocino County Health and Human Services Agency (HHSA), Public Health (PH) Branch will collaborate with North Coast Opportunities Inc. to provide services increasing engagement and awareness through safe transportation practices.
