Approve revenue Agreement with Edovo Inmate Communications in the amount of $190,000 to provide inmate communications at the County Jail and Juvenile Hall, effective upon execution through November 12, 2024; authorize the Sheriff to sign any future amendments that do not affect the amount of the Agreement; and authorize Chair to sign same.

PREVIOUS BOARD/BOARD COMMITTEE ACTIONS:
On November 15, 2011 The BOS approved a five year agreement for inmate communications with Legacy Inmate Communications.
SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
On June 24, 2019 the Mendocino County Sheriff's Office (MCSO) released Request for Proposal (RFP) #SO-2019-001 for inmate communication services at the County Jail and Juvenile Hall. The RFP closed on August 12, 2019. Seven proposals were received and the RFP review committee convened to evaluate the proposals and chose Edovo Inmate Communications for the agreement. The agreement gives compensation payable by the contractor to the County under a Minimum Annual Guarantee (MAG) of $190,000 for the term of 2019 to November 12, 2024 with three one year extensions. Services to the County under the agreement include phones and tablets for the County Jail and Juvenile Hall and includes video visitations, voicemail and text messaging services.
