Approve retroactive Amendment with North Coast Opportunities, Inc. as fiscal agent for Ukiah Vecinos en Acci?n, in the amount of $100,751, to provide outreach to latino communities to increase accessibility, information exchange, and vaccination rates, through collaboration with Mendocino County Public Health, effective January 1, 2022 through May 31, 2023; authorize the Public Health Director or designee to sign future amendments to the Agreement that do not increase the annual maximum amount; and authorize Chair to sign same.

SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
Ukiah Neighbors 'Vecinos' in Action (UVA) is a committee made up of community members. UVA is taking necessary measures in matters that affect the Latino population, becoming a bridge between agencies and the community by serving as a platform for neutral information to build an environment of trust and positive relationships with other organizations serving the public.

In recent months UVA has proven successful in reaching the Latino community with accurate, accessible, and timely information during the COVID-19 Pandemic to improve the health and well-being of the Mendocino County community.
