Approve Agreement (Retroactive Amendment to Agreement No. PA 22-29, SS-21-091) with City of Fort Bragg, in the amount of $0, with a total of $39,908, to provide coast emergency winter shelter access to those experiencing homelessness in Mendocino County in Fort Bragg and the coastal region; authorize the Social Services Director or designee to sign any future amendments to the Agreement that do not increase the annual maximum amount; and authorize Chair to sign same.

SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
On June 1, 2020, the Department of Housing and Community Development released a Notice of Funding Availability for the Emergency Solutions Grant, COVID-19 (ESG-CV), funded through the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act passed by Congress on March 27, 2020. The ESG-CV provides funding to prevent, prepare for, and respond to coronavirus among individuals and families who are experiencing homelessness or receiving homeless assistance, and to support additional homeless assistance and homeless prevention activities to mitigate the impacts created by coronavirus.
