SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
A Board of Supervisors Resolution is required to authorize the Local Enforcement Agency (LEA) to apply for annual grant funding to support Mendocino County's LEA solid waste facility permit and inspection program. The grant guidelines and instructions recommend the Resolution authorize Mendocino County's LEA to apply for these grants for the next five years. Last year Mendocino County received $18,808 from LEA Grant EA-32, and is scheduled to receive $19,265 from LEA Grant EA-33 (FY 2022-23).
