RECOMMENDED ACTION/MOTION:

Adopt Resolution ratifying the Grant Application for participation in the State Carl Moyer Program for Fiscal Year 2021-22 (Funding Year 24), authorizing MCAQMD to accept grant funds in the amount of $200,000 and authorizing MCAQMD to allocate the funds to the RAP; authorize the Air Pollution Control Officer to execute the grant agreement on behalf of the District; and authorize Chair to sign same.

PREVIOUS BOARD/BOARD COMMITTEE ACTIONS:
Approval of the District's Carl Moyer Program Application Annually for Fiscal Years 1999 through 2021. Grant Program Guidelines, including the Carl Moyer Program, were most recently amended by the Board on 5/15/07. On 12/14/21, the Board approved a prioritized list of applications for CMP funds for Program Year 23.
SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
The Carl Moyer Program is administered by the State Air Resources Board (ARB). Funding originates from the "smog-check waiver fee" and the tire impact fee assessed by the State.
