Approve Agreement with Redwood Community Services, Inc. DBA Redwood Community Crisis Center (RC3) in the amount to $100,607 to provide emergency crisis services and outreach to the children and young adults in Mendocino County through the Mental Health Block Grant provided by Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, effective July 1, 2022 through June 30, 2023; authorize the Behavioral Health Director to sign any future amendments to the agreement that do not increase the annual maximum amount; and authorize Chair to sign same.

SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
This item requests approval of the Agreement with Redwood Community Services, Inc. DBA Redwood Community Crisis Center (RC3) to provide 24/7 crisis response, outreach and engagement, to children and young adults in Mendocino County who are experiencing crisis episodes. When applicable, services are funded through Medi-Cal and/or the Mental Health Services Act Community Services and Supports (MHSA CSS). Many times, youth may be uninsured, and unable to apply for Medi-Cal due to immigration issues, etc. Through funding available for this agreement RC3 will serve all of these youth, regardless of ability to pay.
