Approve retroactive Agreement with Kansas Integrated Public Health System (KIPHS, Inc.), in the amount of $8,774.54, to provide computer software application to facilitate client management and service billing for Public Health, effective January 1, 2022 through December 31, 2023; authorize the CEO or designee to sign amendments that do not increase the maximum amount; and authorize Chair to sign same.

SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
On December 6, 2005, the County of Mendocino, Board of Supervisors (BOS) authorized the Department of Public Health (PH) to enter into Agreement No. BOS-05-273, with KIPHS, Inc., in the amount of $75,000, to provide software license, installation, implementation, and data conversion, facilitating client management and service billing for PH. At the time, the Agreement was written as an evergreen Agreement, which would not terminate automatically. In late 2022, the funds for Agreement No. BOS-05-273 were fully expended, requiring either an Amendment adding funds to the existing Agreement, or a new Agreement to be executed in place of Agreement No. BOS-05-273, in order for services to continue.
