RECOMMENDED ACTION/MOTION:

Adopt Resolution approving an application for funding and the execution of grant agreement and any amendments from the 2020 Community Development Block Grant Program-Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Response Round 2 and 3 for Phase II improvements to the Live Oak Apartments; and authorize Chair to sign same.

PREVIOUS BOARD/BOARD COMMITTEE ACTIONS:
CDBG CARES Round 1 funding in the amount of $293,812 was allocated by the Board for microenterprise financial assistance through West Business Development Center. The Board has taken many actions in support of the purchase and renovation of a building for Project Homekey (Live Oak Apartments), including action on 8/4/20, 9/22/20, 10/20/20, 1/5/21/, 1/26/21, and 2/23/21.
SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
This application to CDBG CARES Round 2 and 3 (CDBG-CV 2 & 3) will fund Phase II improvements to the Live Oak Apartments.
